Case Study with Red Rose BV

In June, we asked on LinkedIn: “What are you handing to investors — a story or a strategy?” This question is central to our approach because simply having a business plan isn’t enough — it must be a roadmap for strategy and growth.

To illustrate, we partnered with Red Rose Transportation & Tours BV to position them for optimal funding through local lending institutions.  Though operating in the growing tourism industry, the company faced challenges securing funding.  Many businesses request loans without a clear roadmap of their company growth, financials, or market insights.

Our Approach

We guided Ms. Royer to see how the company’s financial and market outlook could shape her decision-making.  Red Rose operates across four tourism services and also serves as a school shuttle operator. Together, we drafted a forward-looking growth prognosis showing:

·        Alignment of expected growth trends with historical performance

·        Projected capacity demand for the next three years

·        Comparison with competitors

·        Identification of lower-priority sectors for strategic focus

With this insight, Ms. Royer was able to see how her company’s financial and market outlook would be able to shape her decision making for future operations.    

The Challenge

Red Rose needed to increase seating capacity in order to meet growing demand — requiring additional funding.  We helped the company understand its internal financial figures and determine how much additional funding could be borrowed and in what time frame.

Outcome

As a consulting company, we assisted Red Rose Transportation & Tours BV in combining strategic planning with financial insight.    The company now has a clear roadmap for growth and funding, aligning market positioning and financing strategy for future success.

A:  My advice would be to believe in yourself and your vision.  The Caribbean is full of talented and passionary entrepreneurs.   With hard work, resilience and determination, you can turn your idea into a success business.   Do not be discouraged by obstacles rather use them as opportunities to learn and grow.  Stay true to your values and never give up on your dreams.
